Carlson Farms began in Forest Lake, Minnesota, when a local veterinarian set up practice in the early 1960's, and began to purchase land on which to grow corn, soybeans and alfalfa. The farming operations kept the Carlson boys busy and engaged throughout their growing up years, and today much of the Carlson land is being turned into well-planned and nature-preserved residential developments for another generation to enjoy.

Unique building lots are currently under development and for sale by owner. Lot sizes and prices cover a wide range at Sunrise Trails and Sunrise at School Lake.
